Roosters ready for round two at Allianz Stadium

March 6, 2017

The Sydney Roosters will play their first home game at Allianz Stadium on Thursday night when they host the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs to kick off round two.

The Tri-colours are coming off an impressive first-up win over the Gold Coast Titans, with halves Mitchell Pearce and Luke Keary calling the shots in their 32-18 win.

Their opponents, the Bulldogs, fell short to the Melbourne Storm 12-6 in testing conditions.

After a disappointing 2016 season, the Roosters are back in the premiership picture after a win at the Auckland Nines and an impressive showing in week one. Their Thursday night game marks the first of 10 home fixtures that the Roosters will play at Allianz Stadium.

Gates open at 5.35pm with the main game to kick off at 8.05pm. Click here to pre-purchase tickets and here for more event information.
