Sydney Roosters to host preliminary final at Allianz Stadium

The Sydney Roosters will host an NRL Preliminary Final against either the Paramatta Eels or North Queensland Cowboys on Saturday, September 23 at Allianz Stadium.

The Tricolours are coming off a thrilling 24-22 win over the Brisbane Broncos in front of 21,212 fans on Friday night to set up a blockbuster showdown at Moore Park in week three.

On Saturday the Manly Sea Eagles were left heartbroken after a 22-10 loss to the Penrith Panthers and on Sunday afternoon, the Cowboys stunned the Cronulla Sharks with a 15-14 extra time triumph over the defending premiers.

Supporters flocked to AFL and NRL finals at the SCG and Allianz Stadium over the weekend with the Roosters-Broncos (21,212), Manly-Penrith (15,408), Swans-Essendon (46,323) and Cronulla-Cowboys (16,115) fixtures combining for a total attendance aggregate of 99,058.  

Ticketed members prices start from $50 for families and $20 for adults at every venue for the NRL Finals. General public tickets start from $65 for families and $25 for adults at Sydney games.
