Who can join?

Membership to the SCG XI is open to all Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust Members and Sydney Cricket Club Members. Whether you are a currently playing the game elsewhere at Club level, someone looking for the occasional game of cricket, or just an enthusiast of the game, the SCG XI is the team for you. Our matches are tailored to suit every standard and ability of cricket while we also encourage membership from people looking to umpire, score and manage.

Why would I join?

The SCG XI is unlike any team you have been a member of. It provides Members with opportunities to play against international touring sides and other local cricket teams, alongside former First Class and international cricketers, on the best grounds in Sydney including the Sydney Cricket Ground and Drummoyne Oval, take part in tours and enjoying cricket in new environments, or attending exclusive functions. The SCG XI is the cricket club for you – one where you get to enjoy all the benefits of playing out your dreams on the Sydney Cricket Ground – without the hours of training and preparation!
