SCG To Stage Seven T20 World Cup Matches

The Sydney Cricket Ground will stage seven matches at the Men’s 2022 T20 World Cup, the ICC has confirmed.
Hosts and defending champions, Australia will play New Zealand in the opening match of the Super 12 at the SCG on Saturday 22 October in a re-match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 Final.
In an exciting first for Sydney cricket fans, the SCG will host a massive double-header on October 27, with South Africa to take on Bangladesh before India host the runner-up of Group A.
The semi-finals will be played at the SCG and Adelaide Oval on 9 and 10 November, respectively.
