Second Induction To SCG Media Hall of Honour

Rebecca Wilson, Debbie Spillane and Kerry Packer are among 12 sports broadcasters, media personalities and journalists to be honoured in the second induction to the Sydney Cricket Ground’s Media Hall of Honour.
The SCG Media Hall of Honour opened in 2014 to recognise the finest journalists, authors, broadcasters and photographers of theirs, or any generation.
The 2021 inductees are: Gordon Bray, Claude Corbett, Herb Fishwick, Mike Gibson, Tom Goodman, Ray Hadley, Jim Maxwell, Rex Mossop, Les Murray, Kerry Packer, Debbie Spillane, Rebecca Wilson.
They join the inaugural inductees: Richie Benaud, Tiger Black, Ernie Christensen, JC Davis, Jack Fingleton, Ian Heads, Frank Hyde, Norman May, Alan McGilvray, Johnnie Moyes, John O’Gready, Bill O’Reilly, Ray Robinson, Jim Shepherd, and Ray Warren.
The Media Hall of Honour is in the SCG’s MA Noble Don Bradman Dally Messenger Grandstand, linking the world-class cricket press centre to the state-of-the-art broadcast facilities on level three.
